Pediatric Developmental Services (PDS) is hiring a Special Education Teacher to support K-12 students in an amazing school environment. You will develop IEPs, adapt instruction, and collaborate with families to help every child reach their potential.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• Experience working with K-12 children.

Responsabilidades

• Create and execute Individualized Education Plans (IEP) for each student.
• Communicate with staff and families about student progress.
• Prepare detailed lesson plans and submit them for approval.
• Participate in IEP meetings as scheduled by the school.
• Use reinforcement techniques to keep students on track.
• Invite family members to participate in progress.
• Create and distribute progress reports quarterly.
• Consult with on-site therapists regarding behavior concerns.
• Maintain a safe, productive classroom environment.
