Pediatric Developmental Services (PDS) is seeking a Special Education Teacher to join our team in a wonderful school setting. Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field.
• Experience working with K-12 children.

Responsibilities

• Create and execute IEPs for each student.
• Communicate progress and challenges with staff and families.
• Prepare detailed lesson plans and submit for approval.
• Participate in IEP meetings.
• Use individualized reinforcement techniques to guide progress.
• Invite family members to participate in progress.
• Create and distribute quarterly progress reports.
• Confer with on-site therapist about disciplinary and behavioral issues.
• Create a safe, productive classroom environment.
