Pediatric Developmental Services (PDS) is hiring a Special Education Teacher to join our staff and support K-12 students in an energetic school setting. You will create IEPs, collaborate with families and staff, plan lessons, and contribute to a positive classroom environment.

This role requires a Bachelor's degree and experience with K-12 students. We offer a competitive salary and benefits package, including Health, Dental, & Vision Insurance with company contribution, and an IRA with company

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• Experience working with K-12 children.

Mansioni

• Create and execute Individualized Education Plans (IEP) for each student.
• Communicate with staff and families about progress and challenges.
• Prepare detailed lesson plans and submit for administrator approval.
• Participate in IEP meetings as scheduled by the school.
• Use reinforcement techniques to support student growth.
• Invite family members to participate in progress.
• Create and distribute quarterly progress reports.
• Confer with on-site therapists on behavioral issues.
• Maintain a safe and productive classroom environment.
