Citizens of the World Los Angeles (CWC LA) is seeking a Student Support Associate (SSA)/BII to join our Mar Vista campus in Los Angeles, CA. This full-time role supports classroom, outdoor play, and individualized student needs to foster an inclusive, high-quality school culture.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree, or at least 48 college credits required.
• Experience in TK-8 or similar educational setting.
• Experience working with diverse students including English language learners and students with disabilities.
• Ability to communicate effectively, verbally and in writing.
• Ability to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Lead Teacher with ongoing student progress and data reporting.
• Support outdoor play and contribute to a strong play culture.
• Provide individualized support for students with special needs and behavioral plans.
• Contribute to school culture through collaboration and family engagement.
