Job summary

Lanier Technical College, Hall Campus in Gainesville, GA, seeks a Student Support Specialist to enhance student engagement and success across Counseling and Student Support Services. You will provide administrative support, manage data in Banner, and assist with testing accommodations and events.

The role requires an Associate degree plus three years of customer service experience, strong communication, and computer skills.

Qualifications

• Associates degree from a regionally accredited college or university and three (3) years of related work experience.
• Experience with Banner or College CRM systems.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to work with the public.

Responsibilities

• Provides administrative support to assist with service delivery.
• Enters information from forms and reports into Banner and data systems.
• Administers and monitors accommodated testing for Accessibility Services.
• Assists with planning and executing events (Career Fair, Resource Fair, Campus Life).
• Manages student ID processes and maintains secure handling of student information.
• Trains and supervises work-study students.
• Provides back-up front desk support as needed.
