Florida Institute of Technology in Melbourne, FL invites applications for an Academic Support Services Adjunct Instructor to provide undergraduate STEM academic assistance in Mathematics, Engineering, and related fields.
Responsibilities include one-on-one and group tutoring in Calculus, Differential Equations, Physics, Statics and Dynamics; develop effective tutoring strategies; assist with problem solving and exam prep; participate in training sessions to enhance skills.
The Student Success and Support Center is seeking an Academic Support Services Adjunct Instructor to provide undergraduate academic assistance in STEM disciplines, including courses in Mathematics, Engineering, and related fields. Areas of support may include Calculus, Differential Equations, Physics, Thermodynamics, Statics, Dynamics, and other engineering coursework. The ideal candidate will have advanced knowledge in STEM disciplines, strong interpersonal skills, and a commitment to fostering student success.
Adjunct Contract: $4,500 for 16‑week semester (10 hours per week)
