Job summary

The Student Success and Support Center is seeking an AcademicSupport Services Adjunct Instructor to provide undergraduate academic assistance in STEM disciplines, including courses in Mathematics, Engineering, and related fields. The ideal candidate will have advanced knowledge in STEM disciplines, strong interpersonal skills, and a commitment to fostering student success.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in a STEM field is required and Ph.D preferred.
• Prior tutoring, teaching, or academic support at the college level is preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact with a diverse student population.
• Commitment to fostering a supportive and inclusive learning environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one and group academic support for undergraduate students in STEM.
• Support Mathematics (Calculus, Differential Equations) and Engineering courses.
• Assist Physics topics such as Mechanics and Electromagnetic Theory.
• Develop and implement tutoring strategies for diverse learning needs.
• Participate in training sessions to enhance tutoring skills.
