Responsibilities

• Assist students to reinforce reading, language arts, mathematics, computer instruction.
• Work with students individually and in small groups to reinforce learning.
• Assist with administration and correction of tests and assessments.
• Assist in classroom preparations and materials.
• Help with record-keeping of student learning and performance.
• Support classroom behavioral management to maintain safety and order.
• Supervise non-instructional areas (lunch, bus duty, playground, study halls).
• Accompany students on field trips for supervision.
• Assist with parent contact to foster involvement.
• Support students with special needs to maximize inclusion and IEP objectives.
