Qualifications

• At least 48 hours of college credit or passing scores on the ParaPro test or WorkKeys test.
• No experience required.
• Basic knowledge of standard office equipment (phones, copiers, fax, email).
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
• Intermediate English language skills.
• Intermediate oral and written communication skills.
• Advanced interpersonal relations skills.

• Ability to work alone and with others.

Responsibilities

• Assist classroom teacher in preparing materials, tests, grading, attendance, and documentation.
• Assist students with classroom activities and curriculum delivery for individuals and small groups.
• Monitor students and reinforce appropriate behavior during activities and on field trips.
• Perform basic clerical tasks for the classroom teacher (typing, filing, data entry, supplies ordering).
• Assist with field trips or safety drills as needed.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
