Job summary

Renfrewshire Council is seeking an Additional Support Needs Assistant on a temporary, term-time part-time basis to support pupils with Additional Support Needs across schools within Renfrewshire.

You will work under the direction of the head teacher and in partnership with nominated class teachers, with responsibility to support Pre 5, Primary or Secondary pupils, and to demonstrate literacy and numeracy skills along with ICT proficiency.

Qualifications

• Experience of working with and/or caring for Pre 5, Primary or Secondary age children.
• Demonstrable literacy and numeracy skills.
• Experience of ICT equipment and associated software packages.

Responsibilities

• Support pupils with Additional Support Needs across schools as deployed by Renfrewshire.
• Work under the direction of the head teacher/head of establishment and in partnership with class teachers.
