Boys & Girls Clubs of San Francisco is seeking a part-time Student Support Coordinator at Gateway High School in San Francisco, CA. The role focuses on enrichment and leadership programs, academic intervention, and wrap-around support for students in a high-school setting, with a hands-on approach to fostering college and career readiness.

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree or equivalent work experience.
• Experience working with teens and underserved communities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and attendance database management.
• Excellent written and oral communication; strong organizational skills.
• Background check and fingerprint clearance.
• Red Cross First Aid/CPR certification within 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Oversee enrichment and leadership programs and provide wrap-around support.
• Serve as teacher of record for Independent Study students; monitor progress and attendance.
• Provide tutoring support and CyberHigh credit recovery tracking.
• Oversee Study Café space; define usage rules and partner with volunteers.
• Bridge between students and Gateway staff to implement youth-driven ideas and positive climate.
• Transport students safely using BGCSF vehicles or public transit per BGCSF policies.
