Eastern Michigan University in Ypsilanti seeks a Case Manager in the Dean of Students Office to coordinate campus support systems, triage referrals, and oversee the case management program for sensitive student concerns.

Serving as a member of the Student Intervention Team (SIT), the Case Manager assists the SIT Chair with overall case management by triage referrals, coordinating interventions, tracking students' completion of recommendations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in social work, counseling, psychology, or related field.
• Master's degree preferred.
• 3 years in student services or case management with sensitive matters.
• Knowledge of FERPA, HIPAA, ADA, Title IX and related policies.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate campus case management for sensitive student concerns and referrals.
• Provide timely disposition and resolution of assigned SIT cases.
• Triage referrals, schedule interventions, and assist in care plan development.
• Follow up with students to ensure compliance with recommendations.
• Maintain network of on/off-campus services and communicate with SIT members.
• Design outreach and marketing materials for the Dean of Students Office.
• Provide crisis consultation and referrals to health and social services as needed.
• Manage data in Advocate and ensure proper disclosure procedures.
• Analyze participation data and report program outcomes to leadership.
