Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in social work, counseling, psychology, applied behavioral science, or related field and 2 years related experience or a master’s degree in social work, counseling, psychology, applied behavioral science, or related field.
• Experience working with or supporting people in high need or experiencing crisis, as evidenced by application materials.
• Demonstrated ability to work cooperatively with others in a multi-disciplinary team environment and with a varied population of students, staff, faculty, administrators, and other community members.

Responsibilities

• Meet with students to assess concerns/well-being and develop action plans to empower students to address current and ongoing needs.
• Coordinate and track referrals to internal units and external providers to ensure continuity of care.
• Coordinate student transitions from university services to external community providers when needed.
• Assist in student academic planning and accompany missed work or withdrawal decisions.
• Maintain accurate case management records and follow up to encourage compliance with plans.
