Job summary

Arrow Child & Family Ministries is seeking a Resource Assistant to support school‑wide behavior management, provide non‑professional counseling to students, and help maintain a safe learning environment.

You will supervise students, observe and influence social behavior, and assist in crisis management under supervision. The role requires a high school diploma or GED plus at least one year of related experience in a school setting.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required with at least 1 year experience with children and families.
• Experience in a school setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintains a safe learning environment for students within the school's policies.
• Supervises students to observe and influence social behavior; teach rules and manners.
• Develops counseling skills under supervision; promote physical and emotional well‑being.
• Provides a consistent, reliable supportive presence in the school.
• Completes paperwork to record student progress and incident reports.
• Participates as an active member of the Treatment Team; communicates information orally and in writing.
• Assists in crisis management and safe transitions for transportation.
• Contributes to a positive school culture and maintains safety and security of students.
• Reports relevant situations to the Principal; attends trainings and meetings as required.
• Represents Arrow Child & Family Ministries to staff, students, and families served.
