Arrow Child & Family Ministries is seeking a Senior Teacher to assist the Education Supervisor in daily operations and management of the school’s educational and behavioral components. You will implement procedures to meet state certification and contractual obligations.

The role involves direct instruction, mentorship of teachers and practicum students, and collaboration with staff to maintain a safe, positive learning environment while aligning with regulations and school policies.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid state Standard Professional Teaching License.
• 3+ years of teaching experience in special education with emotionally disturbed students.
• At least 1 year of progressive supervisory experience preferred.

Responsabilités

• Maintain a safe learning environment in accordance with school policies.
• Provide direct instruction in pull-out or classroom roles.
• Participate in hiring instructional and resource staff.
• Mentor teachers and practicum students per policy.
• Support teachers in leading classroom teams.
• Conduct non-evaluative instructional observations and co-teaching.
• Lead staff development based on identified needs.
• Teach and model best instructional practices.
• Assist in developing and maintaining professional development programs.
• Help create and sustain a positive school culture.
• Ensure safety and security of students, and manage library and materials.
• Inform the Principal of relevant situations and attend required trainings.
• Possibly drive vehicles and complete company vehicle training.
