The Resource Assistant at Arrow Center for Education Schools supports school-wide behavior management and policies, while providing non-professional counseling to students under supervision.
Responsibilities include maintaining a safe learning environment, supervising student activities, documenting progress, and assisting in crisis management and transitions, while promoting a positive school culture and communicating with the principal as needed.
The Resource Assistant assumes a central role in the ongoing development and implementation of school wide behavior management program and policies; provides non-professional counseling to students.
Other duties may be assigned as necessary.
High School diploma or GED and at least one (1) year experience working with children and families (preferably in a school setting) required.
