Job summary

Weber State University is seeking a Basic Needs Center Specialist I to support students on the Ogden campus. You will schedule Financial Literacy/FAFSA help appointments, answer phones, and help navigate basic needs and campus resources.

In this hourly role, you will also assist the leadership team with projects and events, contributing to a welcoming, student-centered environment. Prior experience in customer service is valued and Microsoft Office proficiency is required.

Qualifications

• Self-starter with energetic and outgoing attitude and customer service orientation.
• Excellent written, oral and interpersonal communication skills.
• Must be proficient in Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Assist students visiting the Basic Needs Center, scheduling appointments for Financial Literacy / FAFSA Help.
• Answer phones and help students navigate basic needs and campus resources.
• Support the leadership team with projects and events.
