Job summary

University of Texas at Austin's College of Fine Arts seeks a Student Services Coordinator to manage academic records for undergraduates and serve as a resource on university policies.

You will respond to student inquiries, coordinate with registrar, supervise work-study students, and help maintain the Student Affairs website and communications.

This on-campus role offers a 40-hour workweek, occasional evenings for events, and opportunities to shape student services.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree and at least 3 years coordinating or administering a program.
• Experience coordinating student services or office programs is preferred.
• Familiarity with university policies and procedures is a plus.
• Experience supervising student workers is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage incoming student messages to central student affairs office, responding promptly and routing complex inquiries to subject experts.
• Meet with students experiencing acute non-academic challenges; connect to campus resources for long-term support.
• Coordinate responses to inquiries from administrators, parents, faculty, and staff.
• Oversee Student Affairs website content; edit copy and improve usability and links.
• Hire, train, and supervise 1–2 student work-study employees and manage desk coverage.
• Cross-train on Degree Coordinator duties and assist with graduation processing.
• Assist the Director with policy improvements and documenting procedures.
