Job summary

The Chronicle Of Higher Education, Inc. is seeking a PT Retention-Completion Specialist to support students in Perkins approved CTE programs. Earned credentials are pursued through individualized planning, outreach, and resource connections.

The role collaborates with Deans and faculty to track progress and report activities, ending June 30, 2027. Responsibilities include developing student plans, guiding completion paths, coordinating with advisors, and presenting opportunities at career events

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Education or related field.
• Minimum of two years of experience in higher education or supportive services.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and Learning Management Systems; ability to handle confidential information.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills; ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Assist students in Perkins approved CTE programs and develop educational plans.
• Identify paths to completion in CTE programs and conduct ongoing outreach.
• Connect students to resources and follow up during enrollment.
• Provide information on career opportunities, job fairs and panels beyond the classroom.
