Job summary

Jackson College is seeking an Academic Advisor (Navigator) to support student retention and completion under the Total Commitment to Student Success (TCS2) framework. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree (B.A. or B.S.) from four-year college or university required.
• Valid Michigan Driver’s license required.
• Ability to pass LEIN clearance.

Responsibilities

• Manage individual caseload outreach, retention, intervention, and student completion.
• Achieve retention and completion goals for assigned students.
• Plan and implement retention related events.
• Maintain tracking dashboard for outreach and intervention progress.
• Travel to correctional facilities and high schools as needed to support CEP and dual enrollment programs.
• Coordinate with departmental staff to update program offerings and student success initiatives.
