Job summary

The College of Saint Benedict and Saint John’s University are seeking an Academic Navigator (Academic Advisor) to support undergraduate students in developing educational plans and achieving personal, academic, and career goals. This is a full-time, benefit-eligible position serving CSB and SJU on both campuses.

The Academic Navigator will utilize advising theory, campus resources, and data-informed practices to guide students, collaborate with faculty and staff, and contribute to a supportive

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in related field required.
• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Advanced computer proficiency including Microsoft Office and data tools.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with students on short- and long-term academic planning.
• Advise students on general education requirements and four-year plans.
• Teach INTG 105: College Success Course (up to two sections).
• Engage with Career Navigators and campus partners to support student planning.
• Maintain confidentiality and accurate student records in line with standards.
• Participate in departmental reviews and service on campus committees.
