Job summary

Chamberlain University is seeking a Supervisor of Advising and Retention Services to lead a team focused on student persistence and success. The role drives high-quality service delivery, implements persistence strategies, and aligns with Chamberlain CARE values to boost enrollment and outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required.
• 5+ years experience in customer service, academic advising, financial aid advising, higher education or related experience.
• 1+ year as a Sr Executive Advising and Retention Specialist or management experience.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work a variety of office hours, including evenings and weekends.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Power BI, PowerPoint; Copilot experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Supervise a team of advising and retention specialists or student support liaisons.
• Execute persistence tactics to improve enrollment and student outcomes.
• Collaborate with leadership to provide coordinated support for students.
• Serve as a liaison for deans, faculty, and campus/online administrators in advising & retention initiatives.
• Lead meetings and provide guidance in the absence of the supervisor.
