Job summary

College of the Sequoias Community College District in Tulare, CA is recruiting a Student Success Coordinator. This full-time, 12-month role supports disproportionately impacted student groups and drives engagement through regular contact, progress logging, and budget tracking.

The coordinator will lead an academic success program, coordinate with instructors and counselors, and develop reports to assess program effectiveness. Evening/weekend work and travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution and two years of professional experience in education or the equivalent.
• Strong critical thinking and communications skills; ability to work independently while developing collaborative relationships.

Responsibilities

• Identify and track students by disproportionately impacted groups.
• Coordinate an academic success program and promote academic excellence and student retention.
• Coordinate between instructors, student services, counselors, and administrators to enhance academic success.
• Facilitate appropriate responses to student Early Alerts.
• Administer regular student meetings and record attendance and notes.
• Maintain confidential records of student interactions.
• Provide leadership on trends related to student success and retention.
• Facilitate presentations and workshops for campus partners.
• Oversee reports to assess the Student Success Program.
• Other duties including night/weekend assignments and outreach.
