Qualifications

• Knowledge of the purpose of community colleges and the Dallas College mission.
• Case management experience.
• Experience developing programs and initiatives for holistic student development and success.
• Ability to work effectively with students.
• Experience using data to make informed decisions.
• Knowledge of student development theories and applying them to practice.
• Understanding of contemporary issues in higher education.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality as appropriate.
• Excellent time management, coordination, and collaboration skills.
• Strong interpersonal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Envision, plan and implement trending student development theories and programs.
• Plan and facilitate campus programs and college-wide events.
• Ensure programs comply with Dallas College, state, and federal regulations.
• Support a caseload of students tracking retention, engagement, and graduation rates.
• Coordinate interactive workshops promoting experiential learning and a community culture.
• Serve as a resource and advocate for student concerns.
• Review student data including enrollment, academic standing, and benefits used.
• Establish and assess measurable student learning outcomes and program goals.
• Create a positive environment for Support Programs.
• Assist with major college-wide events and reporting.
