Job summary

Specialized Education Services, Inc. seeks a paraeducator to work with small groups of students receiving individualized services and support.

You will partner with the teacher to implement the SESI academic rotational model, monitor behavior, track educational progress, and communicate with parents. Responsibilities include providing customized behavior and academic support, conducting assessments, reinforcing learning, and assisting with large group activities as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; college experience or bachelor's degree highly preferred.
• Experience working with students with special needs in an educational setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead small group instruction and implement SESI academic rotational model.
• Partner with the teacher to provide customized behavior and academic support.
• Conduct formal and informal assessments and track student progress.
• Reinforce learning with targeted tasks and one-on-one tutorials.
• Assist with grading, monitor student growth, and coordinate with staff.
