Job summary

Specialized Education Services, Inc. (SESI) is seeking an instructional aide to support small-group instruction for K-12 students with special needs within SESI classrooms. You will collaborate with teachers to monitor progress and reinforce learning using SESI’s PBIS framework.

You will assist with assessments, daily plans, and behavior support while working in a diverse educational environment that values growth and student success.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; college experience or bachelor’s degree highly preferred.
• Experience working with students with special needs in an educational setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Work with a diverse group of students and lead small group instruction.
• Partner with the teacher to provide customized behavior and academic support.
• Conduct formal and informal assessments.
• Reinforce learning using data-driven materials and one-on-one tutorials.
• Assist with large group activities and guide independent study.
