Job summary

Vermont State University is seeking a Student Success Coordinator to serve as the initial contact for students, guiding them to academic advising, career services, disability services and other resources.

The role requires collaboration across departments, data management, event planning, and supervision of student workers to support the university’s student success goals and inclusive initiatives.

Qualifications

• Associate degree with 2–4 years relevant experience, or experience from which comparable knowledge and skills are acquired.
• Bachelor’s degree with 2–4 years relevant experience, or experience from which comparable knowledge and skills are acquired.

Responsibilities

• Serve as first point of contact for students and connect them with resources.
• Collaborate across departments to support student success goals and initiatives.
• Provide first-level advising and registration support and assist with related technologies.
• Manage and update student success resources, data and reports.
• Supervise student employees and provide administrative support.
• Plan events and assist with budgeting and communications.
