Job summary

High Point University is looking for a Learning Excellence Specialist to provide dedicated academic coaching and proactive follow-up support for students. The role includes assessing student progress and facilitating workshops to enhance academic success within the University's support framework.

Qualified candidates should hold a Bachelor’s degree, possess strong communication skills, and have experience working with diverse student populations, particularly those at academic risk. This full-time position reports to the Assistant Director of Learning Excellence.

Qualifications

• One or more years working with college students, including those with learning differences.
• Proven record of academic and professional accomplishment.
• Ability to support students with time management, organizational skills, and social-emotional management.

Responsibilities

• Conduct weekly meetings with learning participants to evaluate academic progress.
• Develop partnerships within the University’s ecosystem of support.
• Assist participants in managing personal action plans.
