Job summary

The University of Utah seeks an Associate Director of Student Services to lead college-level student-success planning and program development within the College of Humanities.

The role coordinates services across departments and builds partnerships with LAS and university student-success partners to improve recruitment, engagement, retention, and graduation outcomes for humanities students.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business or Public Administration or related field; equivalency considered.
• Six years of progressively responsible management experience with demonstrated leadership and effective communication.
• Master’s degree in Business Administration or related area preferred.

Responsibilities

• Leads college student-success planning and implementation.
• Coordinates student-success services across the College.
• Leads college-level recruitment, orientation, retention, and engagement initiatives.
• Provides leadership for college student affairs processes.
• Serves as a primary liaison with LAS and University student-success partners.
• Coordinates student communications and access to resources.
• Develops and evaluates student-success programs and services.
• Provides supervision for distributed student-success work.
• Supports graduation and major student milestones.
• Participates in policy, strategic, and resource planning.
• Serves as a member of the Dean’s Office management team.
