Job summary

Salt Lake Community College seeks an Assistant Director of Campus Experience to lead campus operations and a cross-functional team focused on an inclusive, welcoming environment for students, faculty, and staff. This role drives continuous improvement through data-informed strategies and collaborates with multiple campus units to ensure consistent, high-quality service.

The position requires strong leadership, budget oversight, and hands-on management of the Navigation Hub and Faculty Support

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree in behavioral science, education, communication, or a related field is required.
• A Master’s degree in higher education, communication, behavioral science, or a related field is preferred.
• Five to six years of progressively responsible leadership experience in higher education is noted as ideal.
• Demonstrated experience supervising staff and managing campus operations is expected.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily campus operations to deliver a consistent, student-centered experience.
• Coach and develop a cohesive team across on-site departments.
• Promote an inclusive campus culture aligned with SLCC’s mission and values.
• Utilize service metrics and feedback to drive improvements and allocate resources.
• Oversee Navigation Hub, Faculty Support Center, and campus facilities operations.
