Job summary

The YMCA of Greater San Francisco is hiring a Student Success Manager to work with teachers, counselors, and administrators from SFUSD-COE. You will attend and lead student exploratories, maintain program documentation, and support opening/closing the school site.

Regular schedule is Monday–Friday with occasional evenings and weekends. The role offers $32.00 to $36.00 per hour, contingent on qualifications and grant budgets.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Education, Social Work, Human Services, Psychology, Counseling, Youth Development, or related field or equivalent experience.
• Ability to build positive relationships with youth, families, school personnel, and community partners.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, incl. data entry and recordkeeping.
• Ability to facilitate groups, workshops, or student activities.
• Experience providing administrative support including scheduling and office operations.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and database or SIS.
• Ability to work occasional evenings and support events.

Responsibilities

• Provide case management and connect students and alumni with services and resources.
• Partner with SFUSD-COE teachers, counselors, and administrators to support student success.
• Provide light case management and social-emotional support in collaboration with the School Social Worker.
• Facilitate restorative circles and student support activities.
• Provide classroom support as needed.
• Co-lead Life Skills/Futures class with the teaching team.
• Attend/lead new student exploratories and campus tours.
• Support student engagement in school and program activities.
• Manage and strengthen school partnerships.
• Coordinate services with partner agencies and school staff.
• Plan and facilitate Youth Chance initiatives and grant-funded activities.
