Job summary

The University of Wisconsin–Milwaukee invites applications for the role of Student Connection & Achievement Manager at the Roberto Hernández Center in Milwaukee. This full-time position leads daily operations, programs, services and initiatives that foster engagement, belonging, leadership development and academic achievement for Latino/a/e students and others served by the Center.

Reporting to the Assistant Vice Chancellor of Student Affairs, you will supervise professional and student staff,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant field.
• Three or more years of professional experience in higher education, student affairs, multicultural affairs, student success, community engagement, or a related field.
• Experience supervising staff.

Responsibilities

• Lead the daily operations of the Roberto Hernández Center.
• Oversee programs and services that support student engagement, belonging, leadership development, and academic achievement.
• Develop partnerships across campus and community to advance center goals.
• Monitor and assess program effectiveness to inform improvements.
