Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree required; 3-5 years of relevant work experience or equivalent.
• Experience in student engagement, education, advocacy, counseling, advising, coaching, or other student-centered work.
• History of success with project management and program development.
• Strong writing, communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Rapport-building with diverse individuals.
• Data-informed program design and improvement.
• Skills in advising, coordinating, group learning, public speaking, and teaching.

Aufgaben

• Provides high‑touch, holistic support and guidance to students at Seton College, promoting academic success and engagement.
• Builds relationships with students and connects them with campus resources, student organizations, and leadership opportunities.
• Collaborates with Seton College and UMSV staff to support student development and belonging.
• Assists students navigating academic support services, financial aid, wellness resources, and engagement.
• Guides students to facilitate success and adjustment to college life.
• Develops and implements programs promoting well‑being, growth, leadership, and community engagement.
• Supports planning and delivery of major programming initiatives (summer programs, orientations, wellness, leadership, career exploration).
• Maintains knowledge of campus and external resources; facilitates referrals as needed.
• Serves as liaison between Seton College, campus offices, and community organizations for access to services.
• Responds to student concerns in collaboration with faculty and staff; facilitates resource access.
• Participates in training and initiatives related to student success, engagement, and wellness.
• Acts as a resource to staff regarding wellness and engagement; supports student leadership initiatives.
