Job summary

Fox Valley Technical College in Appleton is seeking a Data Analyst to support Student Services with advanced reporting and decision support. You will build Workday reports and dashboards, analyze recruitment, enrollment, retention, and student outcomes, and translate findings into actionable recommendations for divisional leaders.

Working with College Strategy and IT, you will maintain reporting inventories, ensure data governance, and help measure program impact.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in data analytics, business intelligence, higher education, or related field; Master's preferred.
• At least four years of reporting, analytics, institutional research, BI, or decision support experience.
• Experience developing reports from enterprise systems, student information systems, or ERP.
• Advanced data extraction, analysis, validation, and visualization skills.
• Ability to translate data into findings and actionable recommendations.
• Experience developing dashboards, recurring reports, or decision-support tools.
• Knowledge of quantitative research, assessment, or program evaluation methods.
• Strong written, verbal, visual, and presentation skills; effective with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Provide analytical support to Enrollment Management and Retention committees.
• Analyze recruitment, application, admission, enrollment, persistence, and graduation patterns.
• Develop dashboards and forecasting analyses to support enrollment planning.
• Design and maintain Workday reports, dashboards, fields, and related tools.
• Translate complex analysis into concise reports and executive summaries.
