Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field (statistics, business, mathematics, economics, or public policy)
• Master’s degree preferred
• Three years of relevant experience in research or data analysis with quantitative and qualitative methods
• Three years of relevant experience in higher education research preferred
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Moderate to high proficiency with SQL programming or data querying; SQL Server a plus
• Experience with Power BI, Tableau, or other data visualization tools
• Experience with statistical analysis software (SAS, R, STATA) desirable

Responsibilities

• Provide data analysis and develop displays communicating complex analyses to executive and senior staff
• Monitor district and college metrics; help set goals and develop action plans
• Collaborate cross-functionally to push strategic initiatives and surface issues
• Develop and refine district/college-wide data collection and dissemination policies
• Train researchers and staff to make meaningful data connections
• Develop infrastructure for knowledge management (e.g., SharePoint) and data capacity building
