Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and/or five years of professional experience in a college/university or office environment.
• Experience with student services, retention or counseling is preferred.
• Strong communication and data entry skills with attention to confidentiality (FERPA).

Responsibilities

• Intervenes and follows up with students to support persistence and retention.
• Maintains regular contact with students to provide guidance and resources.
• Advises on course selection, degree requirements, and long-term goals.
• Supports New Student Orientation events and acts as a Solution Center representative.
• Keeps information confidential and complies with FERPA regulations.
