Job summary

The New England College of Optometry in Boston's Historic Back Bay is seeking a collaborative, student-centered Student Success Specialist to support CAPA initiatives and student growth.

Reporting to the Director of CAPA, you will provide hands-on coaching, develop academic skills resources, coordinate tutoring and mentorship programs, and help foster student well-being throughout the optometric education journey. Hybrid on-campus and remote work options apply.

Qualifications

• Master's degree or higher in relevant field.
• Experience in higher education or student support roles.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized success coaching to strengthen study skills and time management.
• Identify student needs and connect with campus resources.
• Conduct proactive outreach in collaboration with CAPA and partners.
• Develop and assess engaging academic success programs and resources.
• Maintain records per college policies and confidentiality requirements.
• Collaborate with faculty and campus partners on student success needs.
