Job summary
New England College of Optometry in Boston seeks an accomplished educator and clinician for a full-time Assistant or Associate Professor position in ocular disease and clinical training. The role includes teaching didactic courses, leading student labs, supervising clinics, and contributing to scholarly activities within our Clinical Network.
The position offers salary commensurate with experience, with tenure options and robust benefits. On-site duties at our Boston campus are expected.
Qualifications
- OD degree with TPA+ licensure (glaucoma and anti-infectives) in Massachusetts.
- Preference for 3–5 years of teaching and clinical care experience.
Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality didactic instruction in ocular disease and posterior segment conditions.
- Lead student labs and workshops, fostering critical thinking and clinical reasoning.
- Prepare students for patient care and participate in the clinical network.
- Contribute scholarly activities to the field and to college committees.
- Deliver patient care at one of the college's clinic sites.
