Job summary

Communities-in-Schools-of-Eastern-Pennsylvania is seeking a Student Support Specialist to coordinate and deliver student-based services at a designated school site. This 10-month, full-time position includes counseling, case management, and collaboration with teachers and families to improve attendance and academic performance.

Required qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in a related field and 1–3 years in public education or community-based organizations; bilingual Spanish preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• 1-3 years experience in public education or community-based org.
• Ability to work with diverse populations and partners.
• Experience in case management and youth counseling.
• On-site coordination of service providers and volunteers.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and deliver student-based services at designated school site.
• Provide individual/group counseling and case management.
• Document interactions with students and families in CISDM.
• Collaborate with school officials and families to support student wellbeing.
• Intervene in crises and conduct threat assessments as needed.
• Support parental involvement and transition services for students.
