Job summary

Center For Family Services in Camden, NJ seeks a full-time Student Support Specialist to provide case management services, develop service plans, and connect students to resources. The position includes a $500 sign-on bonus and a salary between $50,000 and $55,000 per year.

Requirements include an Associate's degree in education or social services, strong communication, data analysis, and experience with community partnerships.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in education, social services, or related field; commensurate experience may be accepted in lieu of degree.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; able to analyze data to measure effectiveness.
• Experience working with community partnerships and collaborations; passion for helping youth facing adversity.

Responsibilities

• Provide outreach to identified students and families.
• Conduct one-on-one interviews and assessments; schedule intake appointments.
• Develop and maintains individual service plans and records for students and families.
• Connect students and families to resources and assist with assistance programs.
• Provide coaching and supports for students and families.
• Collaborate with Camden Re-Engagement Center staff to assist students who have disengaged or dropped out to obtain diplomas.
• Document case notes and contacts in the data system; examine trends affecting families and stakeholders.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
