Job summary

Communities In Schools of Eastern Pennsylvania seeks a Student Support Specialist to coordinate student-based services at a designated school site. You will document activities in CISDM, collaborate with school staff and families, and support attendance, academics and behavior through counseling and case management.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree and 1–3 years in education or community services. A bilingual Spanish ability is preferred, with a schedule that includes some after-hours

Qualifications

• BA/BS in social work, education or related field.
• 1-3 years of relevant experience in public education or community settings.
• Experience with case management and youth counseling.
• Ability to work with diverse groups including students, families and school staff.

Responsibilities

• Provide coordination and delivery of student-based services at a designated school site.
• Maintain documentation of interactions in CISDM daily.
• Collaborate with school officials and families to support attendance and behavior goals.
• Offer individual/group counseling and crisis intervention as needed.
• Participate in supervision and team meetings with site leadership.
