Job summary

Monroe Community College is seeking a Coordinator II for the Student Success & Strategic Initiatives team in Rochester, NY. The role oversees college-wide academic interventions, provides advising, and supports data analysis and strategic initiatives. Occasional evenings and Saturdays work is required.

The position reports to the AVP of SSSI and emphasizes collaboration with faculty, staff, and administration to promote persistence, retention, and student success across the college.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required or equivalent experience in higher education.
• Project management experience.
• Experience working with students in a higher education setting.
• Ability to work in a collaborative manner and communicate effectively.

Responsibilities

• Oversee college-wide academic intervention and early alert workflows.
• Provide academic advising and support for special populations.
• Analyze data, develop reports and visualizations to support persistence and retention efforts.
• Collaborate with AVPs, deans, faculty, and staff on persistence and completion efforts.
