Job summary

Monroe County Community College is seeking a Nursing Clinical Coordinator & Success Coach to join the Nursing Program leadership team. This role coordinates clinical education activities, supports student success initiatives, and assists with program operations to ensure strong student outcomes.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in nursing from an accredited college.
• Licensed registered nurse in Michigan or eligible for licensure.
• Two years nursing experience preferably at the community college level.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate nursing student clinical assignments and requirements (ACEMAPP or similar).
• Assist with coordinating nursing faculty assignments and preceptorships.
• Recruit, hire, and evaluate clinical adjunct nursing faculty; supervise adjunct faculty.
• Track clinical compliance (immunizations, drug screens, background checks, BLS, etc.).
• Maintain records of licensure, professional development, and involvement in professional organizations.
• Promote professional development of clinical faculty and share instructional resources.
• Serve as primary liaison with nursing clinical partners; establish and maintain contracts.
• Coordinate site visits and collect feedback to ensure good standing of placements.
• Collaborate with simulation and skills lab to align activities with outcomes.
• Respond to student concerns and enforce policies; process appeals as needed.
• Assist with coordinating other programs' clinical aspects as assigned.
• Provide input on program operations and accreditation readiness.
• Prepare annual reports for licensing and accreditation agencies.
