Qualifications

• At least one year of experience working with and/or managing children.
• Minimum high school diploma; with a minimum of 48 college credit hours.
• Ability to maintain accurate records.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with diverse individuals.
• Pass a background check.

Responsibilities

• Assists teachers with tasks such as copying, attendance, and admin duties.
• Coordinates program activities (games, art, music, homework) for children.
• Evaluates situations and directs to appropriate personnel when needed.
• Interacts with scholars to provide a safe, positive learning environment.
• Maintains records and files (enrollment, sign-in/out, invoices).
• Participates in meetings to share information and improve skills.
• Maintains a safe environment for children.
• Other duties as assigned.
