Job summary

Gestalt Community Schools is seeking teacher assistants for the 2023-2024 school year. Assist teachers with assignments, attendance, and records, while supporting a safe, positive learning environment across elementary, middle, or high school levels.

Qualifications

• At least one year of experience working with and/or managing children or programs involving children.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Outlook, Word).
• Strong verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact with diverse individuals.

Responsibilities

• Assists teachers with daily tasks including copying, attendance, and administrative duties.
• Coordinates program activities to address the needs of children in elementary, middle, or high school levels.
• Maintains accurate records and files and supports meeting operational requirements.
• Interacts with scholars to provide a safe and positive learning environment.
• Participates in staff meetings and other collaborative activities.
• Maintains a safe environment for children and supports disciplinary and safety processes.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
