Job summary

University of New Hampshire invites applications for an academic advising role within the Paul College. You will guide undergraduate business students through academic and career planning, acting as a trusted coach and resource on programs and policies.

As part of a 4-year advising model, you will support student progression, lead with compassionate communication, and contribute to orientation and program initiatives in Paul College Undergraduate Programs Office.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in education, counseling, or related student service area.
• Two years of experience in academic counseling, post-secondary career planning and placement, or related experience.
• Strong interpersonal skills and communication techniques.

Responsibilities

• Advise undergraduate business students regarding academic and career planning.
• Serve as a resource on academic programs and policies.
• Support student success initiatives and orientation or recruitment events.
• Maintain student records and monitor progress each semester.
• Provide at-risk student support and referrals to university resources.
