Job summary

The University of New Hampshire Paul College seeks a Graduate Programs Advisor to guide PAUL graduate students in academics and career planning, coordinating with multiple offices to enhance the student experience.

You will design and implement programming from Admitted Student Day through Commencement, manage events, and collaborate with international students, faculty, and staff to support student success.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Business Administration, Education, or related field with 2+ years in higher education advising, or a BA with 4+ years of experience.
• Experience advising graduate students in an academic setting.
• Experience using Workday, Webi, Canvas or similar student services software.
• Strong Excel and Outlook skills; excellent organizational abilities.

Responsibilities

• Advise graduate students on academic planning and degree progress.
• Assist students with registration, petitions, changes of major, and degree completion processes.
• Monitor student progress using information systems and generate reports for advising outreach.
• Develop and coordinate student experience programming from Admitted Student Day to Commencement.
• Plan orientations and virtual events for Part-Time and Online MBA programs.
• Collaborate with International Students & Scholars, Graduate School, and other offices to support students.
