Job summary

The University of Minnesota Crookston seeks an Academic Advisor and Tutoring Services Coordinator in the Student Success Center. The role maintains a partial advising caseload and coordinates tutoring services, supporting a range of academic assistance programs including one-on-one tutoring, online tutoring, group sessions, and academic coaching.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher with relevant experience
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Experience in higher education advising or student support preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide dedicated academic advising for online and on-campus students
• Review student records and provide degree progress guidance
• Meet with students in-person or via video for course planning
• Collaborate with faculty to update curriculum and transfer evaluations
• Coordinate tutoring services operations and trainer development
• Mentor peer tutors and oversee tutoring program quality
• Contribute to budget development and alignment with needs
• Support program development and assessment in Student Success Center
