Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Education, Counseling, Psychology, Student Affairs, or a closely related field; three years of progressive experience in advising or related area; or a Master’s degree in Education, Counseling, Psychology, Student Affairs, or related discipline.

Responsibilities

  • Advise on course selections aligned with academic goals and monitor performance.
  • Maintain advising files and support student major declarations.
  • Provide referrals and assist during academic and personal difficulties.
  • Collaborate with faculty and staff across departments and participate in orientation sessions.
