Job summary

• Demonstrated understanding of student development at a liberal arts & sciences college.
• Well versed in the basic principles and theories of advising and college student development in higher education.
• Demonstrated problem-solving skills.
• Demonstrated effective communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality, accurate academic advising, in-person or virtually, to first-year, transfer, and undecided students.
• Document advising sessions and maintain academic records in compliance with FERPA regulations.
• Actively participate in advising assessment initiatives and support departmental projects.
